extraction, curtains

August 6th, 2010 at 01:11 pm

I finally booked in a time to get that pesky tooth extracted (isn't that a nice way of saying 'ripped out'???). I am also getting my biopsy done on the same day. Next Tuesday. Just seeing how much pain I can put my body through in one day Big Grin lol.

But seriously, I am actually looking forward to getting this tooth taken out - when I got it filled for the last time about a year and a half ago, I got home, bit into something (I think it was an apple) and got a shot of pain to the nerve and remember thinking 'well... what a waste of money THAT was...'

Expected expense ~$200.00

I impulse bought some curtains today. Technically they were not impulse buys, because I planned to buy them. But when I got there, they had others on special, and I could not find the ones I really wanted. So I had resigned myself to buying ones I wasn't in love with, for half the price. Then I found the ones I loved, but they were literally the ONLY ones not on special. LOL. Always the way. So I rang DF to check and he said yes, so I bought them. I had to buy 2 @ $69.95 each to fit the screen door where they are going.

To make them would have cost only a little less with the same material and all the other items that go with it (I checked - because the place I bought them from also sells material and craft items to DIY). Anyway, we are going to set them up over the weekend, and get rid of the drab ones we have. So exciting!

Hope the dentist deal goes well.

As for the curtains, are you happy with them? If so, don't beat yourself up over them and enjoy them. Unless you replace them frequently, you will probably keep them for awhile.

Sorry to hear about the dentist & biopsy. Just a thought - if you are receiving any medications, you might want to check with each what they will be, so you can make sure there are no drug interactions.
