Well! Basically the deficit is due to the fact we bought a lawn mower and a ladder, and some other household gadgets. We would have waited to buy these, but we had gift vouchers which paid for part of it. Any deficit we come to each month eats at our buffer (this is not on a credit card if anyone is wondering...). November is the month that we are going to really work at bringing our 'buffer' up again - it is at roughly $5000 now, but I would like it to be atleast $8000 by the end of the year.
Mortgage cost was more this month as our split loan was finalised.
Groceries were more, about $20 more per week. Not really sure why - we have also had a bit of waste too, which is odd. We hardly EVER throw out food, it always gets eaten before it comes to that. I will have to keep an eye on it.
I am ecstatic about our 'Fun' money. We both spent a lot less than our max amounts. I spent about half of mine, and DF spent about $20 less each week.
Anyway, not a great month but not too bad.
