(A Work In Progress)100 Things About Me:
1. I like coffee for the taste. The caffeine doesn't affect my body like a normal person.
2. I am allergic to aluminium.
3. By the time I finished year 12, I had read all the fiction books in my high school library, and about 1/3 of the non-fiction books.
4. When I was younger, I wanted to be a writer. Then own a fruit shop. Then I wanted to be a lawyer. Then a policeman. Now I want to own a cafe and be a writer.
5. I love high heels but I hardly ever wear them.
6. I have about 50 handbags.
7. I have never been overseas.
8. I have taken about 80+ trips on aeroplanes since I was 5.
9. I am a bit of a girly-girl in terms of clothes, shoes, makeup and being afraid of crawly things, but I don't let my 'girl' status overcome what I need to do, and my 'likes' are more tomboy-ish.
10. I can lift my own weight.
11. I like muscle cars.
12. I hate chick flicks and romantic soppy movies.
13. I like action movies more than DF, and sci fi.
14. I would love to visit Italy, Peru, Thailand, Germany and Antarctica.
15. My favourite movies are Deathproof, Snatch, Swordfish, Ace Ventura, Escape From LA, Matrix, Quantum of Solace, Casino Royale, the Bourne trilogy, From Dusk Til Dawn.
16. My Favourite TV Shows are: Topgear, Scrubs, Arrested Development, Black Books, Torchwood, Battlestar Galactica, X Files, Northern Exposure, Californication, Firefly, The Mighty Boosh.
17. I like to cook for DF, and a small group of people, but I don't like cooking for large groups.
18. I'm a cake decorator. I fell into it. I worked retail at a bakery and my boss needed extra help.
19. My hands shake, so it makes it difficult to write on cakes. :S
20. I have been doing the books for my parents flooring business for about 7 or 8 years.
21. It's a stressful job, even though it should be easy. My parents have no idea how to manage money.
22. My favourite bands are: The White Stripes, Moby, Ween, Duosseudo, MGMT, Empire of The Sun, The Beatles, Cut Copy, Prodigy, Jimi Hendrix & Dizzee Rascal, Moloko & Roisin Murphy.
23. My dad has worked in the music industry his whole life. He has literally thousands of vinyls, and thousands of CD's. He always gives me stacks of freebies, and because of this, and my childhood, I have a wide taste in music.
24. That being said, I don't really like a lot of commercial 'pop' music, or 'chick' songs. *shrug*. Often I will like something for a year or two, then it will go to commercial radio though. Then people know what I'm talking about when they ask what bands I like!
25. I *HATE*, with a passion, hearing someone insulting the policeforce and the officers.
26. However, I also equally hate hearing of people abusing their power.
27. I graduated high school in 2004.
28. I don't keep in touch with anyone from high school except for the occasional facebook message.
29. I love reading junk mail.
30. I love writing lists. It calms me.
31. I do not find gyms motivating. The idea of trying to exercise surrounded by mega-fit people is not something that makes me want to sweat it out on the treadmill.
