well, i did it. i went on a phone plan. i was sick of buying credit and having high call rates, and spending more and more each month. my home phone is only on for our internet, so we have high call costs there too. it's more economical to be on a cap phone plan than be using the home phone and a prepaid, both BF and flatmate have the same cap plan.

for $49 a month I get:
$300 call value (inc text, mailbox, downloads, calls to any network)

plus a free new phone.
I got the Nokia N95i, which has 8gb internal memory, a 5mp camera, gps and all the other bells and whistles, plus a really big screen. (2.5" i think)
