Who's blog have you read *every* single entry of?

June 8th, 2009 at 12:25 am

I was just thinking about this the other day. Sometimes when posting is slow here, or I am bored, I go and start reading some archives. It is so interesting to read someone's blog from the start - and I have read quite a few. Some of them started when I started my blog (or my blog before that, or my blog before THAT) and others had been here for a year or so before me.
It is easy to read someone's blog if you were already here to read their first post, but to go back and read entries that span a year is a bit of a commitment!

It's disappointing sometimes when someone stops posting too. There are so many bloggers who I really like and then they just disappear. But things happen, life gets busy and interests wane.

So back to my question, who's blog have you read every single entry of? Who's did you read an entry of and go 'they sound interesting, I think I am going to go back and read the whole thing!'???

Me, personally, I have gone back and read quite a few. In particular: Ceejay74, Brooklyngirl, Monkey Mama, Amber and Broken Arrow, Shiela, and Baselle. (There are so many more though. ) And those who joined around my time, who I have tried to make sure to keep up to date with entries: Gamecock, Cassandra, Smiley, North Georgia Girl, Frugal Texan...

There are more, but I just can't think of you all!

I just thought it would be interesting to see who goes back and reads the archives.

Yours is always a priority, I think because we have been leading somewhat parallel lives...from across the world. Coanig? (can never spell it- though she does not post much anymore.) FrugalTexans, Brooklyn girl (though she's been gone too), BA's, (of course, he's somewhat of a legend with his smart money facts and both interesting and dull ((but makes it seem interesting))personal life...All in good spirit BA- no getting offended- you know having a whole post about living in the closet or learning a new song on the guitar can make for a dull personal life- though interesting blog post) Smile Then Merch- because hes smart as a whip and I can run to him whenever I feel overwhelmed with my money issues..though I dont know what his job is. I always figured he was a CEO or personal banker...for all I know I am taking the advice of a post man as word of God. Hmm...the woman who cant decide between living in Austin or San Diego- forget her name. Though I think she bought in Austin. Oh, Monkey mama of course, and Ima Saver- you gotta have those blogs where they have "been there done that" and you have something to aspire to. Toy guy sometimes lays it on the line with his questions about women. (That is him right?) And Thrifty Ray...I think I really enjoy reading blogs I know their history. IE all the old timers on this site. Oh and Boomeyer had a gut wrenching blog post last summer about telling her hubby about their debt- so I am interested to see how that is going.

I like to go back read earlier entries too. It's so interesting to see how people have changed throughout their blog- I know I have.

I have read probably 90% of your entries. I also have read the majority of Gamecock, Ceejay (I love the dinner entries!), MonkeyMama, Broken Arrow, Disney Steve, and ImaSaver. There are many, many others that I keep up on a regular basis and others that I keep up with more infrequently.

LOL...you must have been very bored to read my blog from the very start.
I read a lot of blogs, I've read yours since you first started. One that used to really enjoy that some newbies might not have come acrossed was Paul (he harldy make an entry these days though). I think his blog was what inspired me to start one here.

I don't think I've read *every* blog of anyone who posts here. For some that would be several year's worth of reading! I do try to check in every day and read my favorites. I don't always have time to read really lengthy blog entries, although I would like to...just not enough time some days! Smile

I probably haven't read every single blog of anyones. But I have a lot of favorites. I do enjoy yours whitestripe. And you always come across as a really nice, caring person.
I can't even name all of my favorites cause I have so many.

Gamecock. LOL, it could be me that your thinking of but I think you might have been talking about frugal fun apprentice. I guess there are at least 3 or 4 of us guys on here with lady troubles.

    Gamecock,

The lady choosing between CA and Austin is Scfr. Big Grin

Wow, what blogs have I read every single post of? I've been here quite a while, so some of these names you may not know (and there are some I've forgotten) but: DivaJen, Flash, Retire@50, BA (though I have to admit I skim the stock posts), Gamecock, Miclason, Ceejay, Whitestripe, Monkey Mama, Scfr, Princess Perky, Boo's, Baselles, Fern's, Kashi's, (She's not on my favorites list anymore for some reason, maybe she deleted her blog Frown -- the girl who worked in management at a grocery store and went to a coworkers retreat), PricePlus, Caoneig (sp?), Thrifty Ray, ImaSaver, DisneySteve, MomSents (and her former blog) and I'm sure I'm forgetting some (especially some of the older posters who aren't around anymore.)

Sometimes I don't get by often enough to keep up regularly, but then I'll do a mega read-a-thon and catch up on as much as I can. I love Firefox and I love Tabs!

Hehe, thank you for saying my life is dull! Because, believe me, when I first arrived here, my life was filled with nothing but drama! It wasn't fun being so broke and going to go to sleep every night stressed not, knowing what's going to happen the next day.

Hmm, while I do check in and read on what I think is a regular basis, I can't say that I actually have back-read anyone's blog. I usually hit the "all entries" tab and go from there.

However, I have and do scroll back several entries just to see what I've missed, but I've never done that for the entire blog.

I read all of them every day. I never miss thrifty Ray, BA, disney steve, scfr (smart couple's finish rich)Fern, gamecock and several other's I can't think of now.

I read the summary description of every entry; when I'm not too far behind I click in and read each one all the way through, but if I'm trying to get caught up I just click into the ones that sound especially interesting.

Sometimes I read an entry from someone that refers to something I may have missed in an early entry--then I go back and read old posts till I have a full understanding of the situation. A few where situations exploded and I had to go back and read through old posts to get the whole picture: boomeyers' confrontation with her husband and SugaMaMa's difficult planning for the "D" word.

But I don't think I've read ALL the old entries for anyone. Oh, except there's one poster who seems to write quite a bit of fiction--I'm fascinated by that one!

Fiction!? I havn't figured that one out yet. Hmmm...I must pay more attention.

"few where situations exploded"....lol. That's a good way to put it.

And everyone mentioned so many I forgot.

fiction? oh i do wish i knew who and what you were talking about now!
yes, everyone has mentioned others i have forgotten that i read as well. Smile

I'm not sure I have ready every single entry of anyones but I enjoy a lot of them. Princess Perky, Momsents, Baselle, BA, Gamecock, Whitestripe, North Georgia Gal, Sugamama, Monkey Mama, lots of others but these are the first ones that come to mind!

  13. Ms. Pearl Says:
    1244530164

Oh! Wait a minute, I have read or at least skimmed all Miclasons entries. Very interesting.

Before I started posting here I read (at that time) thru every one of Tightwad Kitty's and Ima Savers. They were my inspiration.
